Market Comments
US NBSKP – The North American pulp markets have stayed well balanced in spite of the weak preliminary domestic paper and board data for the first two months of the year. The current effort to raise NBSK prices in USA, typically to 990 USD/ton has continued. Also new price initiatives for both softwood and hardwood pulp prices have been announced for the US market for April. Our PIX NBSKP US index dropped slightly by 1.77 USD, or by 0.18%, and closed at 984.36 USD/ton….
