Last week, I sat down with Eugene Conlogue who is, among other things, the Vice President of the Maine Woods Coalition.
We spoke about the online petition which purports to be sponsored by the National Park Service, the push for a national park and why people who live in rural Maine oppose it, Mr. Obama’s “America’s Great Outdoors” initiative, the os-called “Listening Session” in Bangor, the Northern Forest Alliance, and the part the preservationists played in the demise of Great Northern Paper/Inexcon.
