Republican Paul LePage
A poll released Wednesday finds Republican Paul LePage earning his highest level of support yet in the race to be Maine’s next governor.
The Rasmussen Reports survey finds LePage with 45 percent of the vote, while Democrat Libby Mithcell picks up 27 percent support. The results prompted the polling firm to move the race from “Leans GOP” to “Solid GOP” in the Rasmussen Reports Election 2010 Gubernatorial Scorecard.
